Cisco Epc2100r2 Cable Modem Drivers
Here's the trick (pretty simple, actually). That page ( was just a medium to get you logged into the modem -- ie afterwards, you'd be redirected back to plain old But since it's no longer (directly) accessible, you can just manually log in to the main page like so: - Visit » - (aka if the address isn't showing up properly above) - 'Dassit!' :) You'll probably receive a warning from your browser each time you click on one of the tabs (Status, Log, etc) as well as when you initially log in, but since you know that's the site you want to visit, you shouldn't have any worries about 'being tricked' (like my browser says).
Hope that helps. Said by: Jer, this makes sense, but it doesn't seem to work for me. I still get the 'Feature not enabled' for those pages when I click on them. Thanks anyway.
I am pretty sure that Time Warner Cable does not want us to have access to much of anything other than the main page, which probably has all the information that they think is useful to the end user. I saw elsewhere that you can still get to 'gscan.asp' by adding that to the URL of the main page and then let your browser take you there. However, gscan.asp doesn't do much of anything useful other than to allow you to reboot the modem without unplugging it from AC. Added: This is not really a Cisco issue, it's a Time Warner Cable issue.
Here is the PHP script, you will need a webserver on your local network to be able to run this. The file can be called what ever you want. $url, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER =>TRUE, CURLOPT_HEADER =>FALSE, CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT =>120, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT =>120, CURLOPT_POST =>TRUE, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS =>$optString, CURLOPT_VERBOSE =>TRUE, ); $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt_array($ch, $options); $content = curl_exec($ch); print_r($content);?.

I haven't tested out this file yet but it should work, save it as modem.html and open it in your web browser and select the access level that you want 0 is fully locked down and 2 is 100% unlocked. This is the HTML equivalent to the PHP script that I have provided above. CISCO DPC2100 Modem Unlock Tool Access Level 0 1 2 This worked great on my WebSTAR DPC2100R2 modem until they pushed a firmware update to v2.0.2r1256-060303 last night.
Now you are taken to a page where you can 'try again' and you must enter a password. (Needless to say the W2402 password used in the above HTML doesn't work). What I found is that entering a BLANK password works!
Thus you can edit the above HTML to change 'W2402' to ' and it works fine! I notice that now the access level = 2 doesn't stick for long and you have to redo setting it after a while.
This is no big deal and may just be particular to some configuration setting my cable system is doing. Hello all Bit of a story here but. Tech2 Usb Serial. Had a Motorola older modem that I was very used to seeing all this kind of info on but it was having some issues.
I brought it to the walk-in yesterday and swapped it and they gave me a DPC2203C. When I got it home I found some stuff on the net on how to get into the further pages like this thread is about and they worked fine. But something told me this was a older modem as it looked refurbished and then I had issues with the power plug so I brought that one back this morning and they gave me another.
So its all installed and working correctly and even has a better signal level so I went back and tried that old just simple log in to get the further pages and it wouldn't work. Basically I think this one is a brand or much newer one and has a more updated firmware like what you guys are trying to over come. Anyway, I created a copy and paste of the above script and done the one with the PW of W2402 and it seems to work correctly as far as giving me the access level options, but when clicked on for one, like you posted dlflannery would not work. So like you said, I took out the W2402 and just have now ' in there and now it when I click on a level, it brings up a UN/PW prompt, but when I enter nothing or just admin in the UN, and or nothing or ' in for the password, that doesn't work either. Btw my modems Firmware reads dpc2203-P10-5-v202r1262-101203as-CVS So does anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong with this script or how I am trying to access the pages? Thanks for any help.
