FOR SALE: SUPER SUPER SUPER. RARE VINTAGE/RETRO late 1980s GERMAN ANALOG RACK BASS SYNTH BRAINTEC TRANSISTORBASS. A very rare opportunity. These synths almost NEVER show up anywhere, including Ebay. In the entire world, only 400 (FOUR HUNDRED) were ever made.
If you know this unit, you know this unit. This one is in a great condition, minor rack wear near the front screws. Comes with a U.S. AC adapter, original german manual pages. Its MIDI config is deep, much in the synth is controllable, one has to dig in to get to all the functions.
This synth can do Roland 303 style bass sounds, but actually its strongest capabilities are way more expanded, touching even towards moog/oberheim territory etc. Braintec is massively better, deeper, with more functions, depth, thickness, control, knobs etc than most 303 clones. Search Cykong pages for its fuller description. The synth, in fact, was the predecessor by same people who created the simpler German 303 clones: Music and More MB33/MB33 MKII, NEXT SpaceBass 3.3/4.4, FAT Freebass FB383, Terratec etc, which are also collectables by now. This one is NEVER on Ebay or Reverb etc. Great for an EDM afficionados/synth enthuasiasts/professional players/collectors/sound designers. Buy with confidence.
I pack extremely well, and have 100% perfect positive feedback from over 333 transactions at Ebay (for example, id mat7734). Ask questions freely. Product Specs Condition: Brand: Model: Finish: Categories:, Year: Made In: Germany.
My hifi stuff; past & present: updated 5/2/12 Updated 5/2/12, follow the thread down to post 10! Well I'm currently crashing at my parents house, whilst I'm waiting to move into my new apartment. Here's a few hifi configurations/systems I've had in the last few years. Uni System (2008): My first 'real' hifi component system. I bought the NAD 3020 second-hand on recommendation from a few friends. When I first got it I used it with the Denon speakers and a connection to a laptop. Soon after I found a CD player and tuner I used alongside it!
I kept the setup for a couple of years until the exgirlfriend thought I should lose the amp and tuner. Definately the worst decision I made, there were few other things that came close to that amp. - NAD 3020 Amp - Denon (Mission) SC-M50 Speakers - Marantz ST48 FM Tuner - Technics SL-PG520A Cd Player - Dell Inspiron Laptop with MP3s Post-Uni (2010): Moved into my own flat on my own. I'd had these KEF Concord speakers in storage at my parents house for a while and had waited to find somewhere to use them! Combined them with a modern-ish Sony amp and a few other bits and pieces! - Sony TA-FE570 Amp - KEF Concord IV Floorstanding Speakers (circa 1980) - Technics SL-PG520A Cd Player - Sony ST-S311 FM Tuner - iPod & Dock - Behringer UCA-202 and computer - Turntable (cheap) Current Temporary System (2011): Most of my items pitcured above are in storage (in my cupboard) and I've always had my eye on building a second system for use with my computer.
When I move into my new apartment this second system and computer will live in its own room with the computer and my music sequencing things. No doubt I'll be swapping a few items over into my lounge, namely the Marantz CD deck! I've been trying out the Cambridge Audio DAB tuner to make up my mind on DASB radio broadcasts.
Still haven't made up my mind. - Technics SU-V500 Amp - Marantz CD-52 mkII - Cambridge Audio DAB300 - Denon SC-M50 Speakers - Behringer UCA-202 for listening to digital music files, Lexicon Alpha for DAW/Cubase work. Also may of interest to some is my synth rack. I write some of my own music in Cubase and like using 80's FM synth modules. Hope you all like, thanks for looking!
Mahoosive update but still some things to do! Update: December 2011-February 2012 Bit of a big update, I've been living in my own 'gaff' now since before Christmas. Here's what I've got running so far. Been pretty happy so far, but have a few tweaks to make. Schwinn Occ Stingray Serial Numbers. Lounge: the 'relax' system Purely for pleasure this one, audio wise its a bit biased towards digital sources. I like listening to my CDs with everything running 'flat' and use an EQ to beef up the sound of DAB digital radio or iPod.
I haven't used my iPod much with this one, mainly as I buy most things on CD! The TV is also hooked up to the audio amp, as the sound on the Sony TV is a bit disappointing for movies. I've never seen the need to go multi-channel and I doubt I ever will. Don't want to do anymore with this system at the moment.
As you can tell from the pics I desparately need blinds on my window!
