Freepbx Install Unistim Asterisk
Ok so i took this and copy and pasted it into the unistim.conf dle and; everything out but this. [general] port=5000; UDP port;keepalive=120; in seconds, default = 120;public_ip=; if asterisk is behind a nat, specify your public ip [nortel201]; this is the name of the phone, we will use it shortly device=006038bb7323; this is where you must have your mac address rtp_port=10000 rtp_method=0 status_method=1; If you don't see status text, try 1, default = 0 contrast=8; define the contrast of the LCD. From 0 to 15.
Installing FreePBX 13 on CentOS 7. Install Asterisk Soundfiles. I'm using a cloud server where installed asterisk with freepbx and i use voip phone for connect. FreePBX can be installed manually or as part of the pre-configured FreePBX Distro that includes the system OS, Asterisk, FreePBX GUI and assorted dependencies. IAX™ (Inter-Asterisk eXchange) Jingle/XMPP MGCP (Media Gateway Control Protocol SCCP (Cisco® Skinny®) SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) UNIStim.

But the time and date are wrong, no dial tone, and when i choose to have my IVR goto this custom extension, it goes to a fast busy. I do not understand what is going on here. It all seems correct and seems as though the phone is connected just fine since i am not getting a message saying otherwise. Use Google to search site bxinaflash.com unistim.conf This has been discussed many times I have many i2004s running and it all works great. Here are a couple of quickies: 1.
Go to the asterisk CLI (asterisk -rvv from the shell prompt) and type help unistim. Do you get the help list? If not, unistim was not installed properly. Is the PBX behind NAT? If so, you need the publicip entry. Did you make an entry in iptables to open port 5000 udp?
Test the phone by entering the shell command: disable-iptables. If it works, you then need to open port 5000 for it to work. Of course, I presume you have a custom extension in FreePBX to match your line? Again, search the forum -- there is lots of discussion on unistim and the conf file. Otherwise, your file looks fine. This is exactly what i typed. Word for word.
Wget tar xvjf chan_unistim-1.0.0.5f.tar.bz2 && cd chan_unistim-1.0.0.5f make && make install && make config so after this it should be installed correctly? From everything i read this would be correct. I then went and edited the /etc/asterisk/unistim.conf file with the above mentioned settings and i get the phone to stop trying to register. It connects, does not get the correct time and will not get a dial tone. The ivr is pointing to a custom context extension created and when that option is chosen i get a fast busy signal. I can only call inside extensions. No feature codes or outside dialing.
All i get is a system message saying goodbye and hanging up on me. And here is a copy of my configuration. Anyone who has got this to work. Please post a scrub' copy of your config.
