I did a search on google for 'Windows XP OEM French', I found an iso image of 666 megabytes (:o ). It had SP2 slipstreamed. It was French ( france ), but I change the keyboard once installed and it worked perfectly. If you have the same issue as me, when looking for an iso, the following phrases are BAD, they indicate you'll get a pirated copy that won't work: * 'Corporate' * 'With activation' * 'No activation' Hope this helps someone else.

I don't like Microsoft, and I only use Linux at home, but every so often I have to reinstall Windows for some poor unfortunate soul, and since Microsoft says I have to buy a new copy, this is the only reasonable way to get the work done.
